Port Chester Cares is a group of individuals, invested in the community, working together in the area of the Port Chester School District to promote positive, safe, productive and healthy lives for all. We achieve this through research, education, and advocacy and by focusing our resources to reduce youth substance abuse and other high risk behavior and promote positive outcomes.

Some of the best memories are made over meals – holidays, birthdays - even business deals. Sharing life’s most essential element, food, is an age-old way to nurture one another, both in food and conversation. Sitting down to eat is often a rare occurrence, when everyone in the house has stopped for the same moment! Sometimes it takes a few moments of down time before your child will open up about something troubling them or things of a more important nature.

Clinical studies and social studies shed light on the facts: frequent family dinners make a big difference!
